Anambra Governor has signed the Igbo Apprenticeship Bill (Igba Boi) into law.
Effective September 10, 2025, the law:
β’ Gives legal backing to the Igba Boi system
β’ Sets apprenticeship duration to 7 years
β’ Requires basic education for apprentices
β’ Establishes a Commission to register apprentices & resolve disputes.
