In the past "cool kids ministry" looked down on @Awana Clubs as "old fashion." Fast forward to today & parents r getting kids out of screens & into tactile experiences where kids memorize the Bible & play games. Suddenly Awana U.S. is cool again & we grew by 81,000 kids in 2025.

“I want to follow Jesus. But I don't get to do that because I'm transgender." That's what Haley believed until a co-worker's Christ-like example challenged everything she thought she knew about Christianity. After a simple prayer inviting Jesus into her life, she encountered the love of Christ for herself. "Just a touch of His love made me mourn all the years I had spent apart from that. And I knew in that moment that I could never spend one day of my life apart from that ever again." Jesus saved her, and she eventually realized she was the woman God had made her to be.

I heard all this chatter about how good the NY Knicks are. So I’ve watched a bit of the @NBA Finals. I haven’t watched NBA since Jordan. Total honesty? I’m underwhelmed. Sloppy. So much traveling. I don’t get it.

I’ve been blessed to grow as a biblical disciple in both Midwest & Southern USA culture. So many good, Gospel qualities: hard work & systems (Midwest) as well as highly relational / networking & entrepreneurial (Southern). My heart overflows with gratitude.
