Game 1 was rough — my first error in over a year and I didn’t have the plate game I wanted. But I kept my energy up for the team. By Friday night I was making catches to keep us in games and having plate appearances that made a difference. What I learned is my energy really does shift things, and I need to play my game while being more aggressive at the plate. My base running felt solid — those stolen bases were earned the right way, with the catcher making me work for them. Biggest takeaway? I’ve improved a lot since last summer, and this weekend gave me huge momentum. Now I’m taking what I learned here and getting ready to adjust for Super Grand. 2026 Regional Avg FB Velo across all 64 Regional teams is 90.8 MPH. 🔥 Highest: Wake Forest — 94.4 MPH 
📉 Lowest: Alabama State — 84.7 MPH A few takeaways: • 90 MPH is no longer elite at the college level — it's becoming the standard. 
• Nearly every Regional features multiple staffs averaging 91-93 . 
• Velocity isn't everything... but it's becoming increasingly difficult to survive without it. If you want to play at a competitive D1 program… 90MPH is the benchmark. Velo gets your foot in the door… secondary pitches and command get you innings‼️
