Matheus Fernandes won possession 5.42 times p90 in the Premier League last season. The only player to have played 3,000 minutes and won possession more frequently was Elliot Anderson (8.62). Sensible alternative. โœ…

How did Amorim turn United fans on Rashford? He didnโ€™t. That story is lazy. I thought I was done defending Amorim too. I swear this is the last. But blaming him for the Rashford fallout is pure revisionism. Amorim never even managed Rashford. He arrived and found him already standing at the departure lounge with bags packed. Even The Athletic reported the decision came from above. Omar Berrada confirmed it in the interview . The club. Not Amorim waving a magic wand. Fans turned on Rashford because of Rashford. Simple. He spent months flirting with Barcelona like a teenager on a school trip. Talking about โ€œnew chapters.โ€ Dream club Posting smiles in Catalonia like heโ€™d escaped prison. A boy who once called Ronaldo his idol suddenly switched to Thierry Henry mid-audition. Brother started tailoring answers for the Camp Nou entrance exam. Then came the thank-you post after the World Cup call. Thanked everybody. Probably the Uber driver too. But somehow forgot Manchester United. United fans saw that. They remember everything. Then the performances. ยฃ325k a week. One good game. Three disappearances. More inconsistency than British weather. And people forget the Sancho โ€œFreedomโ€ post. Rashford commenting โ€œmy brother finally.โ€ That wasnโ€™t exactly poetry to United fans. Bit by bit, fans got tired. Tired of the drama. Tired of the moods. Tired of defending potential like itโ€™s a full-time job. Now Barcelona donโ€™t want him either. And suddenly Amorim is the villain? No. At some point accountability has to enter the room. Rashford lit the fire himself. Fans just stopped bringing water.
Amorim will never have peace for turning this fanbase on Marcus rashford,Marcus rashford is a Manchester United legend and thereโ€™s nothing you all can do about it,250 goals and assists for Manchester United is not fluke ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป

๐Ÿšจ United executive on why Manchester United wouldโ€™ve still accepted Rashford if he showed the same attitude heโ€™s showing elsewhere: ๐Ÿ—ฃ๏ธ United executive: โ€œI saw the post he made about the teams and people he's grateful for, but he never mentioned Manchester United. He says it's not a dig at the club. Maybe it's not a direct dig. But it's difficult to make a post like that and leave out the club that believed in you from the academy all the way to the first team. The club that made you one of the faces of its project for years. What didn't Manchester United do for Marcus Rashford? Even when his performances became inconsistent, the club never completely gave up on him. The idea was never to push him out. The idea was simple: Reduce the wages. Fight for your place. Earn your way back into the starting eleven. Prove you still have the level. The club was prepared to work with that. But he didn't want that reality. The strange part is that the attitude he has shown elsewhere is exactly the attitude that would've helped him at Manchester United. He worked hard. Kept his head down. Accepted his role. Tried to earn opportunities. Yet the club he's trying so hard to impress still doesn't seem to view him as important enough to build around. Now he's back where he started. The irony is that if he showed that same attitude at Manchester United, there would still be people inside the club willing to welcome him back. Not as the star. Not as the face of the project. But as a player willing to earn his place again. The path back was never closed. The conditions just changed. And sometimes in football, accepting that reality is the hardest part.โ€

Reminder: Just because the media aren't reporting transfer movement, it doesn't mean nothing is happening. Remember the lack of coverage on Ederson? United are working hard in the background. This is just to try ease panic in the past days. A lot made from certain fan channels.

For over a decade, rival fans have said Manchester United are finished. Yet despite 13 years without a PL title and 18 years without a UCL trophy, we still have a winning head-to-head record vs Liverpool, Man City, Chelsea & Arsenal. Man United remain a giant of English football.
