Cheltenham’s MP once claimed sewage spills were coming down. But in the past year the Chelt has seen a massive increase in sewage dumping. The Conservatives have allowed water companies to pollute our rivers for far too long.

#OTD 42 years ago, eight brave @penleelifeboat crew members launched in treacherous conditions to help the Union Star, a stricken coaster being swept towards Cornwall. Tragically, the heroic volunteers would not return home and 16 people lost their lives. #RNLIHistory
