Any faith I had in Welsh politics has been completely eroded after watching the debate on the HTV Wales programme.

Well worth a listen for the passion alone! Even after a decision’s made, listening to alternative ideas, opens blind spots, and strengthens or weakness the current thinking.
The latest Scrum V Podcast is out! βœ… @g_r_owen and @laurenemmaj are joined by James Hook and former chief operating officer of Principality Building Society Rob Regan πŸ‰ Listen on @BBCSounds 🎧 #BBCRugby

What France and Ireland Understand About Rugby That Others Are Still Figuring Out. If you want to understand why France and Ireland keep winning, look beyond the scoreboard. It starts with systems, not matchday. open.substack.com/pub/andymo…

16–20: The Missing Link in Welsh Rugby Welsh rugby isn’t short of talent. It’s short of structure between 16 and 20. In my latest piece, I’ve moved from identifying the problems to outlining a practical framework to widen the base and strengthen the pathway. If we’re serious about the future, this is where the work sits. Read it here: andymoore55.substack.com/p/1… I’m genuinely interested in views from coaches, players and administrators. open.substack.com/pub/andymo…

Replying to @BBCScrumV
@BBCScrumV Thousands of unsold tickets for a Six Nations fixture against France. If I were on that board, the first question I’d be asking is this: how have we become so disconnected from the genuine stakeholders of our game?

Why is the WRU behaving like a private equity outfit when it is supposed to be a governing body responsible for the long term health of rugby in Wales? Right now, the board is treating the WRU like a private company rather than a members’ organisation.

Decisions are being made as if the game can be mortgaged on spreadsheets, instead of being stewarded with care, transparency, and responsibility

Well worth a read @AlgyFord9
Grassroots in Wales is the System. Welsh rugby isn't broken. It’s ignoring the people who built it. Grassroots isn’t the problem. It’s the answer. @WalesRugby @Steffan_Thomas1 open.substack.com/pub/andymo…

Never known a 5 or 6Ns game with 15,000 empty seats. The genuine games stakeholders voting on their feet, with a huge two fingers to the WRU ! Who have a tangible disconnect with the fans the clubs, the schools they are duty bound to serve
