The ABCA is deeply saddened of Fourth Vice President and Board Member Rob Hahne.
Hahne dedicated his life to serving players, coaches, and the game of baseball. Through his leadership, he made an immeasurable impact on youth baseball both throughout the DMV region and nationally. From mentoring young athletes and coaches to helping create initiatives that strengthened and grew the sport at the youth level, Rob’s influence will be felt for generations.
His commitment to bringing the baseball community together was unmatched. We extend our deepest condolences to Rob’s family, friends, colleagues, and all those whose lives he impacted through the game he loved.

This Week In Pitch Counts:
Fatigue is the enemy. Especially in March.
Coached a 10U game Saturday - opposing coach allowed his pitcher, who has very high velo for the age, to throw 84 pitches. Maybe the coach hasn’t had his eye on the WBC and how professionals were on PC’s.
It was 42* out and incredibly windy. He went 2 2/3 and walked 7….
My friend @devenmorgan | @DrivelineBB - we need universal pitch count guidelines to protect these kids
