Boxford Conservation Committee, this is Hull High School (MA). They seem to have found a way to build this turf field that is on a peninsula. (i.e. it is surrounded by ocean on three sides)

So as a teacher/coach, I have to choose leaving school at 12pm and miss three of my classes before exam week OR not going to watch my runner run his State Meet race. Sounds like a lose-lose to me @MIAA033?? This was never an issue when the meet was one day on Saturday or Sunday!

How much is going to Westfield twice instead of once costing the school in terms of busses? What was wrong with east goes east, central goes central etc? Two days and double the driving time. Did ADs and school districts have any say when the @MIAA033 made the meet 2 days? $$$$

For 35 years, States was a one-day meet. Going to Westfield once is manageable - but twice?? Thatโs 10 hours on a bus. Why is this meet 2 days? Do they want double the tickets sales? @MIAA033 Who wants this to be a 2-day meet? What was wrong with the old format? We all loved it.

Another year- another ruined Div States format by @MIAA033. Tufts and Merrimac are 30 minutes away but we are driving 2.5 hours each way to Westfield. WE WILL BE ON THE BUS LONGER THAN WE WILL BE AT THE MEET. We have to leave school at 1145am Friday. How does this help the kids?
