يسرنا الإعلان عن توقيع "مصدر" اتفاقية مع شركة "ريبسول" تستحوذ بموجبها "مصدر" على حصة تبلغ 49.99% في محفظة مشروعات للطاقة المتجددة في إسبانيا. وتقدر قيمة الصفقة بنحو 3.62 مليار درهم (849 مليون يورو). وتضم المحفظة مشروعات قيد التشغيل بقدرة إنتاجية تبلغ 705 ميغاواط مع إمكانات لتحقيق نمو إضافي يقدر بنحو 565 ميغاواط عبر تطوير مشروعات هجينة في المستقبل.

وتأتي هذه الصفقة في إطار استراتيجية "مصدر" لتوسيع شراكاتها مع أبرز الشركات في قطاع الطاقة المتجددة عالمياً، وتحقيق هدفها المتمثل برفع القدرة الإنتاجية لمحفظة مشروعاتها العالمية إلى 100 غيغاواط بحلول عام 2030. ومع استكمال هذه الصفقة، سترتفع القدرة الإنتاجية لمشروعات "مصدر" قيد التشغيل في شبه الجزيرة الإيبيرية إلى 4.1 غيغاواط، إلى جانب مشروعات قيد التطوير بقدرة تبلغ نحو 1 غيغاواط.

The acquisition continues Masdar’s strategy of partnering with other industry leaders to scale renewable energy deployment worldwide, as we target 100GW of global capacity by 2030. Once the transaction is completed, Masdar will have an operational capacity of 4.1GW across the Iberian Peninsula, with around 1GW under development.

Philip Haddad, President and CEO of Masdar Americas, joined government, industry and policy leaders at the Atlantic Council’s Global Energy Forum in Washington this week to discuss the role of energy infrastructure in strengthening US energy security and economic competitiveness.
With demand for reliable, affordable power continuing to rise, Philip highlighted the increasing role of renewables in enhancing energy security and supporting long-term economic growth.
The US is a core market for Masdar, with a diversified 5.8GW portfolio of wind, solar and battery storage projects across California, Texas, New York and New Mexico. We plan to grow this to 25GW and invest more than $20 billion over the next decade, supporting US manufacturing and supply chains, and helping deliver affordable, reliable energy for American consumers.

We are pleased to announce that Masdar and EDF power solutions North America have entered into 15-year power purchase agreements covering the output from the Big Beau Solar Storage Project.
Located in Kern County, California, the 128 MWac solar plant and 40 MW/160 MWh BESS project powers over 64,000 homes.

يقع المشروع في مقاطعة كيرن بولاية كاليفورنيا، ويضم محطة طاقة شمسية بقدرة 128 ميغاواط، إلى جانب نظام لتخزين الطاقة بسعة 40 ميغاواط / 160 ميغاواط ساعة، ويسهم في تزويد ما يزيد على 64 ألف منزل بالكهرباء.
