On June 12th, we mark the anniversary of the Women’s Armed Services Integration Act of 1948, the law that first let women serve as permanent, regular members of the U.S. Armed Forces.
Today, we honor and thank all the remarkable women who have served for our country.
We also honor Truc DeCoste, the Deborah Sampson Award winner, for her leadership and commitment to lifting others up.
