I donāt know if itās literally JUST me, but my experience on Roblox has improved significantly in the past year or so. I feel like most of the changes are great but people get mad at me for saying that.
Roblox is going through an intense transition phase and Iām excited for it.

If you scroll up in the replies you can even see R15 emulating the R6 style near 1:1. Itās like they didnāt even read the thread.
Draconian is right, and people are just coping
Because R6 as a *rig* (not the avatar *style*) is obsolete and Roblox is trying to move games off them so they can remove it.
There are exactly 0 reasons to be using R6 as a rig in 2026, it was deprecated 10 years ago.

The R15 requirement is good actually
R6 sucks. You can have the R6 style in r15. Thereās no reason to use the r6 technology except for extremely niche situations (hardcore platformers)

On June 8th, 2026 Roblox is increasing the DevEx rate by 42% for games that appeal to 18 players on the platform; however, the user must be age-checked, reside in the United States, and the game itself must use the R15 avatar. Developers are not region-restricted.
