As the number of practitioners grows, the available opportunities seem to be shrinking. During my campaign for LSK President, I prioritized this issue, but it was met with differing opinions. The profile and prestige of our profession continue to decline. It’s crucial to reflect on the actions of the current LSK Council. What have they accomplished? Have we taken steps to advocate for our profession in the Court of Appeal? If so, did we employ strong negotiation tactics to secure a ruling that safeguards our collective interests? There are serious challenges ahead.
