ALT Make a difference to maternity care in Tameside. Would you enjoy listening to local people’s experiences of maternity care? Can you help turn that feedback into positive action with midwives and doctors to make birth better? Can you chair a meeting or are you willing to learn? Then you could be the new lay chair or engagement lead of our Maternity Voices Partnership for Tameside and Glossop. We are keen to attract people from a diverse range of backgrounds to work with our diverse communities. The MVP chair role is for 4 days a month (32 hours, worked flexible) and the engagement role is for 2 days a month (16 hours, worked flexible). We would consider combining the roles into one six day a month (48 hours) position or possibly splitting the roles and/or days between two or more people.
