I worked with Robin and Andrew on several translations. They always felt like the core of our teams, always immersing themselves in the project and bringing a ton of love. Game loc just lost one of its best editors. My heart goes out to Robin and I hope he feels our love

Hello to anyone reading this. I am Robin Light-Williams, formerly lead translator for Carpe Fulgur. I am very sorry to announce that my friend and business partner Andrew Dice, @SpaceDrakeCF , has passed away. Pursuant to that, Carpe Fulgur will be ceasing operations.

I worked on this too! Great project with a great team. I'm always humbled by how amazing the SRW translation team is. Die-hard fans, every one of them. It was an honor to work on this with them!

Now that it's technically out, time for the usual.
I was the team lead for Super Robot Wars Y! I oversaw the translators and editors, and I handled final review passes.
I think this game's writing is something special, and I hope you all enjoy it as much as I did!

This makes me irrationally upset. It's not an action RPG. Mario RPG-esque QTEs in a turn-based system does not make it not turn-based. Can we, as a society, move past being terrified to admit something is turn-based? It's okay. Turn-based games can be cool. I promise.

I would, personally, recommend buying Metaphor first this week so you can play it before the spoilers fill all our timelines. Sparking Zero will still be popular and fun when you get around to it.

Disney Pixel RPG is DIRE. I don't want to rain on anyone's parade if you enjoy it, it does have delightful art, animations and the writing is solid. However, the actual game is so barebones. Every character has one skill, and the skills have no flavor (1/?)

What this says to me is things were kept simple because this is meant to be babby's first gacha. But that's worse! That's so much worse! Babby should not be playing a paid gacha! Kids should not be eased in to the concept of paying real dollars to roll for Elsa! (6/?)

The adds showed cute pixel art with fun animations and it delivers that. I do enjoy watching Judy Rider Kick enemies. The story in the first world has been entertaining to read. But this is not a game I feel like I should support.
