As I'm considering this, I'm realizing that this just makes Musk look petty and vindictive. A billionaire swooped in, purchased an app, and then built a new app on Twitter's corpse. All to ensure that NO ONE could use a tool (toy) that he felt he couldn't have.
This isn't like when Facebook the company became "Meta", which was kind of what-ever. Or Google which is owned by Alphabet. Google is still a thing. Facebook is still a thing. Musk is out to create an entirely new app.
