Oh no @McDonalds, you've changed the sweet and sour sauce, and my boys don't like it! It was the only sauce 9yo would eat, and was a godsend for getting my food adverse autistic boy to actually eat stuff. 😭

Chatting to my boys today, I have only just realised that in Pokémon you start in Pallet town, and then visit 8 cities named after colours.

9yo teaching himself how to solve a pyraminx was a great excuse to pick up something I've been wanting for ages...

Best 3x3 time I've recorded so far is 1m12s. I've definitely done under 1m in the past, but perhaps this will serve as a little motivation to learn a more efficient solve strategy.

This morning we awoke to 5 butterflies!
The cocoons have been transferred. Looks like 9/10 of them are OK.

SEND placement costs are a joke. We have a place in one of the very few LA funded provisions, it's half the price of some of the private options, and massively better value for money. The long term savings would have been huge if they'd been allowed to open more SEND schools.
The 2012 Education Act prevented councils from building new SEND schools, combined with Academy Trusts who where given permission to be selective resulting in growing number of school exclusions so councils had no choice but to use private SEND sector who rapidly increased fees.

All those kids are going to be back in school in a few weeks, sitting in front of teachers who will have to deal with the fallout.

Painted using a palette knife by 9yo and 7yo. They particularly enjoyed mixing the colours. The grey was quite a challenge as we didn't have black paint. Which one do you prefer?

This afternoon my three boys put on a Bunny vs. Monkey play, which they wrote themselves. They played nine different characters using masks they spent the day making. There was a picnic, an airplane war, a dinosaur attack, it was pretty manic! @phoenixcomicuk @jamiesmart

And here is the script and the props they stashed behind the sofa, which they dipped behind for their costume/scene changes.

I wish I was ever as happy as 9yo is when he's in water... His eyes light up with absolute joy every time.

Debating a whirlpool bathtub upgrade. Does anyone have one? Is it worth it? Pros/cons?

Start with 1 and then counting on upwards, how many cells can you fill in if: 1. You must write the numbers in increasing sequential order, 2. You can only place a new number orthogonally adjacent to one that is already filled in, and 3. No two neighbors differ by more then 5

Time for the thread you’ve all been waiting for! Here’s how I think senior UK politicians would attempt to cross the big red balls in Total Wipeout 1/
