Personal note: this book connects the teenage anarcho-punk who discovered Situationism to name everyday alienation — with the adult now working inside institutions. Not abandoning the SI critique. Carrying it into adulthood, into decisions with real consequences for others.

This project traces a journey from teenage anarcho-punk discovering Situationist ideas, to an adult forced to reckon with imperfect political choices, to a technocrat pushing social democracy as a necessary-but-insufficient tool. The tension never resolves. That's the point.
