The competition aspect is most important. I have guys go out for track because of football and a few will say I don’t care that much about being good at track. Don’t waste the coaches time or your time. No replacement for competition. How you do anything is how you do everything.

Logan Jones (299 lbs) just ran a 4.90… and the math is terrifying.
Using kinetic energy (½mv²), this Iowa OL is carrying about 5,261 joules.
That’s like a bowling ball going 85 mph, a heavyweight champ’s punch, or a charging grizzly.
And yeah… that same force helped power a Joe Moore Award O-line.
