Course Update: The course @TheWilmslowGC has reopened today with 13 holes available. Winter greens are in use where the frost is still coming out of the ground. Thank you for your patience and understanding!

On this month’s #MaintenanceMonday, we performed deep tine aeration on greens 2, 6 & 10, using 1-inch solid tines to a 10-inch depth. This will enhance drainage & percolation. We followed with 2 tonnes of topdressing, leaving a clean & polished finish on the surfaces #wilmslow

Winter Project @TheWilmslowGC
Our team tackled the waterlogged area on the 3rd fairway, installing a new drain & connecting older ones. They raised & turfed the spot, using turf from an out-of-play area that will now be seeded. Course improvements are underway! #golfincheshire

Using a dry Monday @TheWilmslowGC to lightly topdress all greens and work it in with a rubber drag mat. A ‘little and often’ approach keeps the surface firm and smooth without disrupting play ⛳️
