No cheating! Does your board game shelf pass this version of the Bechdel Test? That is, do you have 2 adjacent board games with non cis-male designers? (1/3)

I’m breaking my relatively non-existent X presence recently with some super exciting news. My reaction based party game ‘Hands off my Pecker’ is due to arrive in stores soon! Super excited to see it in the wild 🤩
If you've played Don't Be A Dik Dik, Calm Your Tits, and Giant Beaver! Tiny Ass!, then get ready to play Hands Off My Pecker! It's fun, it's fast-paced and it's sure to liven up any games night you've got planned in the future! Coming VERY soon...🤩 #cardgames #gamesnight

Ahoy is one of the more accessible asymmetric games I’ve played, and I managed to get it to the table with four new players reasonably easily - which is a great feat for this genre of game! Keen to try it again soon to see how I can do better! Do you play many asymmetric games?

It’s been a while since I posted a board game card mosaic, and what better example than Scout! Such a clever small box game from @oinkgms. Which is your favourite Oink title?

Had a great time at the Playfest London event. Played some great games in development and got to test a new game I’ve started designing about racing raindrops which worked surprisingly well!

Had a great time at ZatuCon @ZatuGames yesterday! I ran two games of @BloodClocktower for them which were amazing, and when everyone wanted to keep playing after I couldn’t say no! So maybe less variety of games than I had intended but a great day all round 😁

My birthday has unsurprisingly been filled with new games 😂 but has hit a surprising topic of debate: When you punch out tokens from a board, do you push from the curved (front) side or the flat (back) side? Or don’t you care?
63% Curved
18% Flat
18% Haven’t thought about it

I mainly like to play how many can I punch into one hand before I have to give up and put them somewhere on the table in a little pile

To distract myself for not being at GenCon, here’s Thunder Road: Vendetta. The most Mario-karty racing game I’ve played and I love the chaotic energy. It’s one of the few games I don’t play to win just to see what happens 😂 Do you have any games like this for you?

Had an amazing time at the London @sciencemuseum at their board game design exhibit showing off Hands Off my Hippo! Amazing to see so many people enjoying the game and wanting to playtest everyone else’s game too! Hope to be back soon :)

Anyone that has played Feng Shui knows I love a polyomino game with score tracks 😉 so no surprise that I love Planet Unknown! I love the gamified lazy Susan too 😁 What are some other eye catching game centrepieces you love?

There’s something about word games that are just so satisfying to play! And I’m always surprised by the new directions game go. Currently loving Knit Wit, if nothing just for all the arguments at the end 😂

Goblin Vaults is a super tight bidding/tableau game where you have to be hyper aware of what everyone wants in the best way. Plus you play so few cards that every decision really matters and you can’t risk a mistake! A big surprise for me What games have surprised you recently?

I finally played Hegemony! Now, it was a *long* game (we were all new, but had all read the rules) so won’t be for everyone. But I think it was truly one of the most fascinating experiences, and a phenomenal feat of design balance and thematic play. Amazing.
