South Carolina has over 80,000 rules and regulations. Many of them impacting our freedom and wallet...
ALL of them implemented by unelected bureaucrats.
That's just wrong. It's time to cut red tape and put the people back in charge.
H.3021 - The Small Business Regulatory Freedom Act will rein in government, increase transparency, and stop costly regulations in its tracks.
Why do we need it now?

Today in 1775, New Hampshire patriots gathered at the mansion of colonial Gov. John Wentworth, demanding the head of a loyalist militia officer who opposed freedom.
Wentworth & his family fled to Fort William & Mary, before abandoning NH two months later.
We were ungovernable.

Yesterday's State House primary elections sent a clear message: South Carolinians want leaders who will tackle affordability challenges with smaller government, greater accountability, and more economic freedom.
We're encouraged by today's positive conference committee report, as the Small Business Regulatory Freedom Act (H.3021) continues to move forward in the General Assembly.
Small businesses are still navigating outdated regulations, unnecessary red tape, and rules that too often remain on the books without meaningful review. H.3021 brings transparency and accountability to the regulatory process while making it easier for entrepreneurs and job creators to grow and succeed.
Voters have made their priorities known. Now it's time for lawmakers to act.
The Senate and House should finish the job and get H.3021 to the Governor's desk.
