I know this is a stupid American take... but every time I watch soccer, I cannot figure out the size of the field. Look how tired these players are. Just let them play on a small field. Think of how slow basketball would be if they played on a soccer field.

I know this is a stupid American take... but every time I watch soccer, I cannot figure out the limited substitutions rule. Look how tired these players are. Just let them substitute. Think of how slow basketball would be if the same players had to play 48 minutes straight.

In the UK, we've built an economy where even a job as a kitchen porter can be on 28k a year, with strong employment rights.
We've built that left-wing dream where every job pays a decent, livable wage.
But we've gone and given it a way to Indians and Africans.

If no migrants were working at the company I work for, there would be hundreds of (decent-paying for the UK) jobs available.
At least 30% of the total employees.
And there are plenty of English people with the skills to do the jobs.

You can increase opportunities for young people by:
-Reversing the national insurance increases on employers
-Repealing the Employment Rights Act
-Cutting welfare
-Stopping low skilled immigration and removing migrants from the country working in entry level retail and hospitality, especially those on the Graduate Visa
-Having lower minimum wages for teenagers so they can get into the job market more easily
Subsidy schemes make us all worse off, and blaming smart phones and tech companies is a cheap distraction tactic.
