The compassion of Jesus is a scandal to the Pharisees. How can he eat with sinners? But if he does not feast with sinners, what hope do we have to eat his body and drink his blood unto everlasting life? My Eucharist homily @TASeminary on Matt. 9. youtube.com/watch?v=ongr17bb…

El siglo XX cambió radicalmente lo que los cristianos comprendemos acerca de la Trinidad. Pero esto no fue necesariamente para bien, escribe @MattMBarrett. 👉 chrst.today/4okC0ra

As ordinary time begins we now look to the providence of God for peace in the world and in his church. Grant, O Lord, that the course of this world may be so peaceably ordered by your providence, that your Church may joyfully serve you in quiet confidence and godly peace; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen. -Book of Common Prayer

Happy to make a small contribution to the Boethius issue. In it, I reflect on how Boethius' understanding of the Creator-creature distinction is deployed in /Consolation/ and how it can be a real consolation to us.
The Consolation of Philosophy has been one of the most important books for me. At last, the new issue @CredoMagazine is here and it is dedicated to introducing you to Boethius. Here are articles by professors and priests to help you along: credomag.com/magazine_issue/… Big thanks to our executive editor @Connor_Shack, as well as Matt Pitts and Spencer McCorkel

In this overly therapeutic age of looking for temporary cures and solutions, Boethius shows how classical education offers a cure that is eternal—because it is found in the one who is eternal. -@NadyaWilliams81 New issue of Credo is out! 📚 credomag.com/?p=47820

Boethius was critical for the development of Christian orthodoxy. Through his use of philosophy, he brought conceptual clarity where there was great confusion. -Antonio Donato, Professor of Medieval Philosophy NEW ISSUE ON BOETHIUS is out! credomag.com/magazine_issue/…

I really mean this: all of our professors, whether Bible or practical, are steeped in the Great Tradition. Students are introduced to the GT across the whole curriculum. It's distinctive to a classical Anglican approach. -Bryan Hollon, @TASeminary My podcast with Hollon is out @CredoMagazine. 🎧credomag.com/2026/05/seminar…

Today is Trinity Sunday! Almighty and everlasting God, you have given to us your servants grace, by the confession of a true faith, to acknowledge the glory of the eternal Trinity, and in the power of your divine Majesty to worship the Unity: Keep us steadfast in this faith and worship, and bring us at last to see you in your one and eternal glory, O Father; who with the Son and the Holy Spirit live and reign, one God, for ever and ever. Amen. -Book of Common Prayer

Baptism has become so meaningful since becoming Anglican. In the Anglican communion baptism is truly a *sacrament.* Before the priest holds the child in his arms, he consecrates the water beforehand and says, “Now, Father, sanctify this water by the power of your Holy Spirit. May all who are baptized here be cleansed from sin, be born again, and continue for ever faithful in the risen life of Jesus Christ our Savior. To him, to you, and to the Holy Spirit, be all honor and glory, now and for ever.” My new substack article is out as you prepare for Trinity Sunday. open.substack.com/pub/matthe…
