5 days later: ORR is "aware of recent media reports" on Euston. The massive advertising LED has just been switched off (despite Network Rail claiming that the small departure boards installed on the concourse as part of a £1.5m upgrade helped with flow).

I spent a day at Euston so you don’t have to… unless you have to get to Brum, Manchester, Liverpool, Crewe, Preston, Wigan, Glasgow… Nat Rail says Euston is safe. Not what I saw. As ⁦@frankcottrell_b⁩ says, “It’s an accident waiting to happen.” thetimes.com/article/771de43…

And follow rail engineer @GarethDennis who has paid a high price for giving his verdict on Euston… he said the station was unsafe and, after the alarming overcrowding I witnessed on Thursday, he’s plainly right. And should be allowed to say what he thinks.
