If you’re an app developer considering cold DMing me to pitch whatever rent-seeking bullshit it is you’ve cooked up: don’t.
Get a real job working for someone else, or develop something that will actually make peoples’ lives meaningfully better.
Day 6. @MetaforBusiness briefly removed the fake page yesterday afternoon (and deleted the IP infringement reports we submitted from Brand Rights Protection), but now the page is back and our reports are showing again, but still "in review."
This shouldn't take a week, @Meta.
It's now been 4 days with dozens of people reporting this fake page for impersonation, yet @Meta@MetaforBusiness continues to let this page remain up, siphoning views from the original creator and gaming @meta's monetization program.

Follower just DMed letting us know an impostor has published a ton of our Reels to some new FB page to game @meta's monetization program. Tried submitting an IP infringement report, but can't bc @meta's form is broken — requires email address, but the field is grayed out.

@Meta exactly how are legit content creators and brands supposed to enforce their IP on your platforms when you make it impossible? Even before I got to this form, I was given false info by @metaai repeatedly, including links to random FB pages that are not official in any way.
Every time I see some reply guy/gal try to continue gaslighting Meta-heavy advertisers after months of abnormally poor performance and more and more data coming out supporting the thesis that Meta broke something internally:
Meta: Hey guy, let us make creative for you with our AI.
Me: Show me.
Meta: Whaddaya think?
Me: Congrats, you solved the "hand" problem.
Meta: So you'll use these, right?
Me: No, bc you've completely changed the product's appearance & still don't understand scale or perspective.
Just had a convo with @metaai's "Business Assistant" wherein it admitted it's not:
• Leveraging the diverse creative already in our ad sets
• Making budget allocation decisions based on the data it has access to or the cost controls in place
So that's fun.
TL;DR of every @Meta Perf. Summit recap:
• Each new best practice = more cost layers to advertisers (IA, partner ads, etc.)
• Shift from Last Click to "Lift" measurement = give Meta more trust in exchange for less accountability & transparency
Deeply unserious company.
MSM finally realizing. Dead internet theory is real. And I’ve personally seen the campaigns being paid for to drive fake social engagement - especially for artists… 😏
This runs counter to everything @MetaforBusiness AMs have been telling advertisers for 2 yrs.
Also, @Meta has proven itself incapable of accurate conversion event tracking (even w/ proper CAPI & pixel setup) for both optimizations when used separately.
Be serious.
On value optimization: too many advertisers were using both value and conversion optimization leading to fragmentation.
ANNOUNCEMENT: we’re rolling out “ROAS optimization goal” that optimizes for BOTH value and volume.
Oh good, Satan & Beelzebub are finally going to produce the hell-spawn literally NO ONE ASKED FOR.
AI hallucinations and mistakes occurring a little too slowly for you? These two paragons of incompetence are on it.
Today we’re announcing an agreement with Amazon Web Services to bring tens of millions of AWS Graviton cores to our compute portfolio.
This partnership marks an expansion of our diversified AI infrastructure and will help scale systems behind Meta AI and agentic experiences that serve billions of people.

The delta between the gaslighting and self-glazing coming out of @Meta's Performance Marketing Summit and the reality of how severely broken the ad product is rn is truly insane.
And you media buying "thought leaders" amplifying this bullshit should be ashamed of yourselves.
JFC, @Meta. Act like you're fucking interested! Did every person in leadership in your org get replaced by lobotomized AI?
Can't track or model conversions accurately.
Can't roll out a single new feature without breaking your core product.
QA and Proj. Mgrs do exist.
Going to Japan will literally one shot multiple belief systems at once:
1. Cars are not the way. Clean, safe public transit creates a more enjoyable life. Cars should be optional. I love NYC for this but it still pales in comparison to Tokyo.
2. Restrictive zoning is not the way. It kills street life and makes neighborhoods boring and hostile to human social life.
3. Expensive housing is not the way. I think 50% of America’s problems are just a proxy for how damn high the rent is.
4. Making general existence cheaper for folks in a city leads to people doing more crafts and side projects.
Tokyo has the best food scene in the world.
A lot of those restaurants are one guy doing the same thing for 30 years.
5. You can indeed create a society free of crime that is almost completely safe. It does exist. It just takes work.
Japan is an alternative version of modernity.
Of what could have been if you put more thought into building a city.
It’s familiar enough to feel cozy, but different enough to wow you.
