Jack of all trades, master of none. Jesus, grading reform, author, education, hunting, guitar, baseball, biology, etc...My personal views and beliefs on life.
Really, Christianity is the only religion that is openly mocked on a world stage…and, at the same time, it’s not surprising. Thankfully, this world is not my home.
“Be not deceived, God is not mocked. For what things a man shall sow, those also shall he reap. For he that soweth in his flesh, of the flesh also shall reap corruption. But he that soweth in the spirit, of the spirit shall reap life everlasting.”
Galatians 6:7-8
A monumental event for our camp has finally happened. We finally have a 30” walleye on the board. Grant Behrens was able to haul in this life time fish today on the last spot of the day. A 30” walleye had been long awaited and we are thankful someone was finally able to get one!
Day 2: We estimate that we caught probably another 300 walleye with 80-90% of those being over 22 inches. We had one 26.5”, a couple 26”s, and many more between 22-25”. Probably the best day of fishing that most of us have ever experienced.
“My buddy’s told me this morning … my victory’s secure on the cross.”

Chad, learning progressions and proficiency scales are different. Proficiency scales maintain the same verb in
each level. Learning progressions use a different
verb with each level. See Reibel and Thede, 2020, Solution Tree book.
“The word says who Jesus is, He’s knocking on the door, all you gotta do is get up.”
This is a powerful story told by Saints linebacker @demario__davis. A must watch!
Yo. First competition at (16-team) Shirley Ryan Invite & this crew went 5-1& was runner up to DNH 💪🏼 - man, this group is fun 🤩 & really darn good 😊 #GoMVStangs 🩷🏐
After dinner, the crew wanted to go out and fish the milk jug until sunset. We were able to catch a couple nice ones and it was a perfect way to end the evening. The big walleye of the day was a 26” caught by Mount Vernon’s finest, Matt Thede.
Hot, sunny, and calm was the story for the first half of the day. Twin Sisters was the first stop, but didn’t produce. We changed direction and went for our mid lake reef. Once over the “spot on the spot”, everyone seemed to catch a fish. We caught enough for a nice shore lunch!
