Nathan Reed | 6’4” 200 lbs | Sophomore RHP Physical 6’4” frame with durable 200 lb build, Reed brings a starter’s presence and the ability to carry stuff deep into outings. Logged 49.2 IP with a 66% strike rate, showing consistent ability to fill the zone and work ahead. Fastball sits 88–90 T91 with late-game velo retention—doesn’t fall off as outings progress. Mixes a 75–76 changeup and 78–80 slider, both thrown confidently for strikes in any count, giving him a true 3-pitch mix to keep hitters off balance. Struck out 45 over 49.2 IP (8.15 K/9) while limiting walks (18 BB), backing a 1.47 WHIP. Competitor on the mound who attacks hitters and trusts his arsenal. The Pellissippi State Baseball 30-man roster will consist of 26 Sophomores this year.  Heading into year 2 as a program, expectations have been set after a surprising 2nd place finish in year 1.  On the mound this year the panthers are returning @MatthewMeade0 (MTSU Commit), and @_JacobDillon_ who both threw 55 innings last season.  They have also added transfers @cooperjones2024 (LMU), @carterk_0 (Lipscomb Univ), Nathan Reed (Itawamba CC), Roanan Cason (Yakima CC), and @LantzShirk (Maryville College).  All showing very well this past fall.  Freshman RHPs Zach Johnson and Foster Whisman are also expected to be big contributors this Spring.  On the position players side Returners Jacob Dillon (1B) and Caden Channell (LF) are expected to be middle of the order bats.  Freshman infielders Caden Black and MaKai Derry have been impressive all fall.  Transfers Donovan Mitchell- CF-  (Univ. Of S.
