Imagine every pixel on your screen, streamed live directly from a model. No HTML, no layout engine, no code. Just exactly what you want to see. @eddiejiao_obj, @drewocarr and I built a prototype to see how this could actually work, and set out to make it real. We're calling it Flipbook. (1/5)

Also playing with gestures. Draw to point at things on the screen, and the system can point back using a docked cursor in the corner

There are a lot of interesting interactions to be tried with gestures speech, I enjoyed @Dianadotlu's recent essay on this diana.lu/point-n-talk Also, the computer-controlled cursor is courtesy of @FarzaTV's new project Clicky x.com/FarzaTV/status/2041691…
Hey, I'm open-sourcing Clicky. Go forth into the wild and build the future of education and the future of AI interfaces, my friends. I'm happy to have given a spark. Enjoy! github.com/farzaa/clicky

i like this workflow for sampling and remixing media curious what sampling might look like for more interactive artifacts, like what if you could sample an animation curve or a layout from a website?

The canvas allows for immediate manipulation of material (text, sketches, images, videos) brought in through quick operations (being able to remove backgrounds, collage, combine, etc.)

A while back, I started making a map of meaningful places that I've been to and that I'd like to see Each spot comes with a note about why it made it on the map

It's been nice to reminisce on these memories, and to think more about where I want to visit Link to the map here (or via link in bio): felt.com/map/Places-9Ag4bBex…

Map was inspired by a similar list of meaningful places curated by @michael_nielsen Like Michael mentions in his post, I'd love suggestions for places to visit, and to hear about other people's places! x.com/michael_nielsen/status…

Meaningful places I'd like to go; meaningful places I've been. I wish everyone had a page like this. I've benefited enormously from suggestions, and also just enjoy talking over meaningful places with people michaelnotebook.com/ongoing/…

A pattern that I’ve noticed with people I consider quite good at what they do is an ability to notice their often subtle reactions to things and then to bring those reactions into enough focus that they can articulate why they felt that way

It’s a very similar process to journaling. Notice how you felt in some situation, then try to articulate why you felt that way. Interestingly, many of these people also have their own journaling practices. Helps train a kind of general ability to tune into feelings/intuition/thoughts.

via suggestion from @nickpunt, drag one concept on top of another to create a new pathfinder graph lets you easily explore follow ups, diving deeper into related topics of interest x.com/nickpunt/status/193195…

Great work Matthew! The curved line paths made me immediately want to grab one of the interim concepts and drag it onto another concept to boot up another pathfinder instance (e.g. drag expression atop immersion in your example above)

Has anyone made a chrome extension that lets you chat with others on the same webpage as you? I wanna run into people spontaneously while going down rabbit holes
