The first cycle of the @MLB season belongs to Pete Crow-Armstrong!
The @Cubs center fielder is donating his batting gloves from Monday’s game to the Hall of Fame.

The highlight of my work thing today was when they brought out a bowl of chocolate chips for us to snack on. No cookies, just chocolate chips. Underrated snack.
Cubs' Pete Crow-Armstrong was asked about how he processes moments like tonight at Wrigley - 38,000 fans chanting his name, getting picked off and having a big AB late.
What follows is one of the coolest answers I've heard from a pro athlete - on pressure and the mental game:
Good morning. 69 and partly cloudy at Wrigley tonight. Get in the door for 1 chicken shawarma plate from Zam Zam on Clark, a 4 minute walk away; bleachers for 1 chicken shawarma plate and a falafel bowl; all you can eat/drink for roughly 9 chicken shawarma plates. Mmm, Zam Zam.
So to recap, there were two cycles in Wrigleyville tonight: My infant daughter’s (pee, poop, spit up all at the same time) and PCA (home run, triple, double, single). A historic night on Chicago’s North side.
This is, reportedly, the first cycle of any kind that PCA has been involved with in his life after he repeatedly refused to learn how to do his own laundry or learn to ride a bike, despite his parents’ best efforts.
