Football/soccer just isn’t designed to pique the interest of general American culture.
It’s a constant but slower pace of play (consistent action but limited intense bursts) from less “super human” people (elite athletes but closer to average size) predominantly running around*
Honestly I don’t know why football isn’t as big as it should be in the US. Your national team isn’t even bad. How can you guys prefer basketball and baseball to this? Shout out to the Americans who love football, you’re real ones

Simmons’ weight/lean-ness isn’t a problem until it’s a problem.. which it wasn’t as a rookie.
BUT being that light does send people looking for a problem now.
It looks like #Chiefs OL Josh Simmons was in the gym this offseason 💪
Simmons says he's down to around 285-290 pounds right now, adding his goal is to be 300 at the start of the season.

Gonna take a *wild* guess that in 2027 he ends up a little bigger again but adding size back on how he wants rather than as fast as possible.
Shed post-injury/recovery “weight” in the first real offseason. Add mass in the second real offseason.
