I have never shared this with another soul but.... On New Years Eve we would go out to dinner and my dad would stop at every homeless person he saw on the way home and give them several hundred dollar bills. He was simply the kindest human being I have ever known 😊

I met Bill Cobbs at the Pasadena Playhouse 21 years ago during an intermission. I said to him, “I read where James Garner likes to make actors feel at home on a set so they can do their best work. Mr. Cobbs said, “That sure is right.” I Loved “I’ll Fly Away” the tv series, too
