Basketball discourse is terrible. The minute a guy wins a ring folks run to say now he’s better than so and so.

No boundaries, no liver and all hands is such a scary combination
Adrien Broner couldn't keep his hands off Wiz Khalifa's baby mama Amber Rose and she had to ask Ray J to get him away from her 😭💀

Yea this sum bullshit
Iran was ordered to leave the U.S. and return to Mexico directly after their first match of the World Cup. The team had expected to spend the night in California, but was told after their match that everyone must immediately get on a plane for the 140-mile trip back to Tijuana, Mexico. Coach Amir Ghalenoei says the team was ordered to leave the U.S. but did not say why or who ordered them to leave earlier than planned. "I think our team is perhaps the most oppressed in the World Cup."

This is common for bigs. They aren’t like guards. Many gas out at 35 minutes in high leverage situations if not strategically rested (I’ve seen it with AD many times). Most of them are not doing EVERYTHING on defense and also trying to be their go to guy on offense like Wemby. Something has to give. It’s why his offense needs to be tighter/more efficient. Not having a tight order of operations there wastes energy he can’t afford to waste.
Wemby's conditioning may be his biggest weakness 📉⁣ ⁣ (via The @KevinOConnor Show)

There’s a small list of actual 2 way players SGA fir example aint guard a soul in these playoffs but ppl are fooled by off ball steals
Defense is hard for folks to quantify, so I’m not surprised to see dummies saying Wemby is not a top 5 player because he lost the Finals. People often throw out “best two way player” and they usually mean perimeter scorer that guards a bit. Wemby is the best true two way player and it’s not even close.

Y’all can enjoy Jalen Brunson’s ring and give him credit without hyperbole and putting him in convos with players he has no business being in convos with. It’s ok.

This is the coolest thing ever. We’re at NASA getting a tour from astronaut Anne McClain. This is us entering the Orion capsule that flew around the Moon in April.

- What qualities do the players next to you need to have so you can perform at your level? “I think mainly shooters and a big man who can run the pick-and-roll and jump so I can pass to him. If I have shooters, they won’t double me as much and it helps me out.” YT/DrafteadosNBA

Vince Goodwill says parity is bad for the league because championships are starting to feel like participation trophies, with a new champion every year 😬

I appreciate Shaq saying that, i think alotta ppl assign the defensive tag to Shaq bc they never watched him
Shaq says Wemby would have no chance guarding him in his prime: “Oh, stop it. Let’s talk desserts. He’s too light in the cakes for me… But I’m not known for defense, so he probably would’ve scored a few points also. There’s no guarding me one-on-one, so you can’t ask me that question.” (via @melissarohlin)

Oregon 3 High Run Fit vs Oklahoma State. There are a lot of ways that teams will fit the run out of 3 high while playing Tampa. Here Oregon plays with Jimmy/Pony rules. Pony = 3T/6T are playing A/B Gap, striking the guard and tackle, creating knockback, then folding into the interior gaps once the ball declares inside. Jimmy = 5T is doing the same thing, just in the B gap. The Mac, Money, and SS are able to then fit off the back, just like they would if they were playing Mint.

This is cookie cutter scouting, only thing that will change is the size 🤣

Bron lost to the Mavs & deadass started calling niggas broke at the Post-Game presser what are you on about?
"He's only 22" is not a valid excuse for the way Victor handled himself throughout the finals. Bad sportsmanship, dirty plays, childish comments to interviewers, an arrogant attitude, the list goes on. If he ends up winning some chips, people won't forget this. You didn't see this problem early on with the other greats like Lebron, MJ, and now Brunson.

RT @WildHorses65: The number of people who find this offensive is mystifying. There’s a weird mass psychosis going on with Vic right now. F…

People said this for the Cs in 2022 and then we came back and won it lol
“They’re so young. They’ll be back.” I’m hearing the same things I heard in 2012. There are no guarantees in professional sports.

Why i have an issue with obtaining Klutch players Its getting increasingly harder as he dominates the field and yes i kno Burries is one But Rich Paul is a parasite, from a team perspective is there a single good contract on his client list
Spurs head coach Mitch Johnson and Spurs guard De'Aaron Fox are both represented by Klutch Sports Group. For fans still wondering why Johnson kept featuring Fox so prominently in the NBA Finals (despite Fox sinking San Antonio's ship), there's a big hint. 🔍
