Flagg (19 years, 112 days) becomes the second-youngest player in NBA history to garner All-Rookie First Team honors behind LeBron James.

The NBA announced today that Mavericks forward/guard Cooper Flagg has been named the 2025-26 Kia NBA Rookie of the Year.
He joins Jason Kidd (1994-95) and Luka Dončić (2018-19) as the only Mavericks to garner the award.
Flagg's 20 field goals made (20-29 FG) in his 49-point effort vs. CHA (1/29/26) were tied for the most field goals made by any player in a game this season (Bam Adebayo, 20-43 FG, vs. WAS 3/10/26).
Flagg recorded the longest (12 games, 3/5-3/25/26) and second-longest (9 games, 12/22/25-1/8/26) streaks of consecutive games with 5 assists by a rookie in 2025-26.
