We are on our honeymoon and in same boat. Arrived yesterday told to wait until next flight and our bags would be there and weren’t. Still waiting today. Hoping they’ve just arrived on the flight that just landed. What a nightmare awful start to our honeymoon

@shiulie_ghosh I was caught in the same situation, leaving my case at T5, having been promised that it would be “definitely” be loaded onto the plane. Why have the media not reported this? Is it no longer newsworthy when something of this scale happens at Heathrow?

@British_Airways my daughter flew from Heathrow yesterday to Dublin arrived to find no cases and been out on the flight. No idea when they will receive them or if they even will. There for her birthday weekend for 21st birthday and absolutely ruined

This was Terminal 5 yesterday, Heathrow airport check in belts stopped working, everyone just told to label their luggage, and dump it in front of the belt. This is across the entire terminal, thousands of suitcases left behind. One of them is mine.

I arrived in DC last night but luggage didn’t. I went to a physical check in desk rather than self-service but made no difference.

This is a nightmare. I'm kicking myself for leaving my suitcase in their check-in chaos but I honestly believed @British_Airways when it said it would be with me that same night. Lesson learned on my part.
