An Independent Disciplinary Commission has today expelled Southampton from the Sky Bet Championship Play-Offs after the Club admitted to multiple breaches of EFL Regulations related to the unauthorised filming of other Clubs’ training.
In addition, the Club has received a four-point deduction that will be applied to the 2026/27 Championship table.
The effect of today’s order is that Middlesbrough are reinstated into the 2026 Play-Offs and will proceed to the Play-Off Final against Hull City. The final remains scheduled for Saturday 23 May, with the kick-off time to be confirmed.

He’s has suffered a grade-two hamstring injury, as Telegraph reported. Spurs expect to be difficult to see him involved again this season.

Would take a look at Abraham Odoh from Peterborough as a potential loan next season. Not quite cut it but was a huge prospect in L2 at Harrogate. Remember him causing us issues. Quick winger #gills

I’ve got a good idea. Let’s change shape to 5 at the back with a striker at right wing back, a right winger at left back, two full backs at wide centre back when we had a centre back on the bench who could have been a straight swap and then let’s all wonder why we concede goals!

No denying shit season. Complete rehaul coming in summer. Hopefully we learn, improve, and build it better. That being said, seeing the potential yesterday with those goals was something to build on. Seeing our fans, as usual, traveling and chanting was something I needed. Thanks for that. At some point soon we’re going to ask for that support for next season with a cool season ticket launch. Wish it was better this season but we move on; look to the World Cup; preseason; friendlies (we have some solid matches); and we go again, together, like we always do. Brad. @TheGillsFC

Definition of mixed emotions. So much better today and until the subs we were immense. That said, it’s another loss, another 2 goals, another game without scoring, and against Swindon. Another team in this league would have been 3-0 up after 60 mins. Shows our issues (1/2)

That said, this team next year HAS to be built around Dack and Hale. Forget preferred tactics or player types, get players around those 2 that are I’ll get the best out of the and you’ll see so much improvement. #gills
