Fable 5 fixes things I didn't ask for. Opus 4.8 breaks things I didn't ask for. Lovely news.
The US government, citing national security authorities, has issued an export control directive to suspend all access to Fable 5 and Mythos 5 by any foreign national, whether inside or outside the United States, including foreign national Anthropic employees. The net effect of this order is that we must abruptly disable Fable 5 and Mythos 5 for all our customers to ensure compliance. Access to all other Claude models is not affected. We apologize for this disruption to our customers. We believe this is a misunderstanding and are working to restore access as soon as possible. Read our full statement: anthropic.com/news/fable-myt…

Claude Fable 5 is included only till June 22 in all plans. We are at that point where only companies with unlimited money will be able to use the latest and greatest models because usage of this model will explode into the $100.000 per month easily.

Introducing Claude Fable 5: a Mythos-class model that we’ve made safe for general use. Its capabilities exceed those of any model we’ve ever made generally available.

I swear to God, some crayon-eating vibe coders’ backends that have never touched a single line of code in their lives before are more secure than this abomination. WHO ON EARTH IS THE GOVERNMENT HIRING?

Tump Mobile is currently leaking customer information, including full names, shipping addresses, emails, and more A security researcher contacted @coffeebreak_YT to make him aware of the vulnerability. The researcher has contacted the Trump Mobile team about a responsible disclosure, but hasn't heard back yet

What if the Best Buy email was scheduled correctly, but Rockstar internally delayed the game a third time without telling Best Buy, and the email leaking preorders, which would have been announced by Rockstar beforehand, was sent out by mistake because they forgot to delete the scheduled email?

Drake mentions GTA 6 Trailer 3 in new album 'ICEMAN' 🧊 “Been a year, already got that Trailer 1 and 2… now it’s every night prayers hopin’ Trailer 3 is coming through.”

Either GTA 6 Trailer 3 or an announcement today, then preorders from Monday the 18th on. Though they could hold onto Trailer 3 until Monday and release it together with preorders. It's one of those two. We are closer than we have ever been!

Web developer here. The GTA 6 cta_preorder thing is real, but people are reading way too much into it as it has been around since May 2025. cta_preorder basically means “call-to-action: preorder”. It’s a tracking event inside Rockstar’s Google Tag Manager setup. GTM usually sits between developers and marketing teams: devs add the setup once, and marketing/analytics teams can later configure tracking for buttons, campaigns, and events without deploying the website every time. When a preorder button exists and someone clicks it, the site can send data like button text, link URL, placement, and even a sku_id to Google Analytics. That sku_id part is interesting because it could track which specific product/version someone clicked on. This lines up with the rumors about multiple GTA 6 editions/bundles shared by @DetectiveSeeds. From a dev/marketing perspective, this is normal prep work. You set up the event in advance so the tracking is ready the moment the preorder CTA is actually used. As checked by me with Wayback Machine, it has been there since May 2025. So yes, it’s legit. No, it’s not new. But with the Best Buy leak, it’s definitely more interesting than it was before.
Rockstar's supposed GTA 6 pre-order evidence is actually years old gamesradar.com/games/grand-t…

Then the only possible day for trailer 3 is Friday the 15th since they 99% won't post something of this magnitude on a Saturday or Sunday.
I DO NOT know the day Rockstar plans to drop the GTA VI trailer 3. The person I received the pre order info from did not think they were going to do same day trailer 3 and open pre orders due to server loads on purchasing so that is why I believed this week would be trailer 3 because I knew pre orders started on Monday May 18th. Only a handful of people know when Rockstar is going to upload that trailer. Also, I do not believe console bundles will be announced until Playstation State of Play due to that marketing deal.

Introducing SubQ - a major breakthrough in LLM intelligence. It is the first model built on a fully sub-quadratic sparse-attention architecture (SSA), And the first frontier model with a 12 million token context window which is: - 52x faster than FlashAttention at 1MM tokens - Less than 5% the cost of Opus Transformer-based LLMs waste compute by processing every possible relationship between words (standard attention). Only a small fraction actually matter. @subquadratic finds and focuses only on the ones that do. That's nearly 1,000x less compute and a new way for LLMs to scale.
