When we were raising the first round for Pelagos, one question kept coming up again and again: why couldn't a big player just copy what we're doing and execute it better? It's a fair question to ask, and we would put together analyses to address it, though probably those analyses weren't read in full and we ended up getting lumped in with cross-chain DEXes 🥲 The irony is that unfortunately we're now seeing that copying isn't actually that simple, otherwise we wouldn't have had the recent hack.
