Had a great time hosting seniors from the Chester Senior Center for a tour of Subaru Park and lunch together! Many had never visited the stadium in their own city, and a conversation at one of our monthly meetings inspired this special outing.
Thank you, Col. Arthur Jenkins, Jr., Director, Delaware County Department of Veterans and Military Affairs, for presenting some very interesting and helpful information for veterans at the Mayor's Lecture Series. ICYMI, you can watch it here:

Great visit with the ladies at Maris Grove discussing the impact of trash incineration on Chester’s health. Even better - they’re taking action by recycling paper & cardboard into art materials for the Widener Child Dev. Ctr. Real impact. Thank you for the warm welcome!
Had a great time at Widener's Senior Civic Engagement Scholars Celebration -- an inspiring showcase of civic engagement in action.
Congratulations to the students for their impactful service projects, and to the graduating scholars on earning their stoles!
Always an honor and a pleasure talking with the wonderful folks at the Chester Senior Center! Thanks for having me and for the great questions and engaging conversation!

Congrats on the opening of the new Ummah Fight Lab at 51 E. 9th St., Chester! The gym will offer a variety of classes including boxing, kickboxing, grappling, and more, for men, women and youth. Great place to work out and learn self-defense.
We want the trashing of our air to stop! Joined our Health Comm. Dr Motley and folks from the Energy Justice Network, Delco Environmental Justice and Widener University in a community conversation yesterday about the toxic incinerator and its impact on our community.

Productive meeting with our partners at U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). Safe, secure housing and strong workforce development remain top priorities as we work to create pathways to higher-wage jobs and homeownership for Chester residents.
As a former Chester High Hi-Q member and as Mayor, I was proud to attend the Delco Hi-Q match with Chester STEM, Notre Dame and Bonner & Prendie. STEM led until the final question, losing by just 1 point. Brilliant students, tough questions, and gracious hosts—Chester is proud!
