Earlier this week, the @energygovuk formally recognised the redeveloped MCS Installer Scheme, and the strong consumer protections it provides, as a Code of Practice for the Boiler Upgrade Scheme (BUS).
As a result, installers certified under the redeveloped Installer Scheme are no longer required to hold consumer code membership when carrying out installations funded through the BUS.
This is a significant milestone for MCS and everyone involved in delivering the Scheme, demonstrating government support for the robust consumer protections that we have introduced through the redeveloped installer Scheme.
