From the day we said "Wena Wamanzi" when we pitched the concept. We knew that the Water gods were smiling at us. What a journey it has been, and to think, this is just the beginning. Thank you to everyone who has traveled this journey with me. ๐Ÿฅน๐Ÿซก #BETQueendom Makwande.

I want to thank @NetflixSA and @stainedglasstv_ for taking my story from print to film. This is such a surreal moment for me!! #ThePolygamist is my debut novel, the book that got rejected by many publishers. So I took a bet on myself and self published. The bet paid off!!

Sheโ€™s the next generation of brilliant actors in SA.
๐ŸŽญ The future of acting is in safe hands. Zokhethelo Zondi's unbelievably good in film. She embodies her character with so much depth, her performance is layered and heavy leaving the audience with a lump on their throats with little to no dialogue. #ShutUpMenAreTalking

#Shutupmenaretalking just showed us that filmmaking can still thrive thru locally rooted, traditional stories. It powerfully captured the struggles faced by women in deeply traditional spaces while also celebrating the strength found in a womanโ€™s bravery, her voice & her resilience

Eishโ€ฆ we had so many story bombs set. Twists, turnsโ€ฆ and we were right at the finish line. 30 episodes to go. That one hurts every time I think about it ๐Ÿ’” WENA WAMANZI!
What happened to Queendom is so unfortunate, they were doing an amazing job with that show and they had even greater plans for the story, I still wish we could one day see the rest of the season's episodes one day. ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿฝ Another channel must just buy the rights for that show.

Wish we'd see their end product, Queendom was great but we don't know how it would've ended, Black Gold felt rushed cause the channel was closing, also a decent story line

Snub! Snub! Snub! Mduduzi Mabaso deserved all the awards for his portrayal of Prince Andile Khahlamba, he played that character with every bone in his body, an absolute masterclass of performance. ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿพ Tough. #SAFTAs19
