From yesterday - we totalled 218 bags of rubbish, tipped garden waste and invasive species as well as huge pile of dumped items (TV, small mattress, roll of carpet, animal hutch, stack of garden chairs…)I look forward to trying to spot myself on the tv later this year! #rubbish

Today I met Stacey Dooley!
I joined the amazing El & Ash at Clean Our Patch CIC cleaning up some neglected woodlands. With the BBC and tonnes of equally amazing volunteers, it was a full day of hard work and lots of smiles.

Beautiful walk this morning before it got too hot! Did the monthly dog poo bag walk. Half a bag of rubbish collected, lots of people around but not crazy amounts of rubbish! 22 dog poo bags binned today plus 12 from a walk earlier in the month equals 34 this month! #bethechange

A blister pack recycling scheme is coming to Brixham! 🚨
In collaboration with Prospect Brixham, we are bringing a new recycling scheme to the town!
We are working with the company My Group who recycle every bit of the product; foil, plastic and any residual medication waste!

After a morning soft launching Brixham’s new blister pack recycling scheme (more info to come!) I took myself off for a walk. One full bag of litter later - lots of rubbish that had clearly been tossed out of vehicle windows, one dressing gown(?) and a fairy, and I’m back home.

Well the weather finally made its mind up on sunshine, so I finally managed to get outside!
One full bag collected around Northfields Industrial Estate and a few surrounding roads. Plenty of industry waste and takeaway food packaging. Oh and dog poo bags, of course! #litterpick

Many plastic bottles, dog poo bags and pieces of polystyrene. Nerf gun bullets, half a flip phone, a party popper, a doll’s mug, a slice of a monster munch packet from 1985 as I have a similar one in my collection and just as we were finishing, another smartie lid, H for Hannah!

What a fab day!
I was invited by El and Ash from Clean Our Patch CIC to join their incinerator tour and estuary pick as part of Keep Britain Tidy’s Great British Spring Clean.
The tour was sooo interesting, and to see all that rubbish was mind blowing! #plymouth
