I made a Kahoot quiz based on this maths KO (but it’s essentially just a quiz on a wide variety of KS2 maths so anyone can use it) - ideal for last week of SATs revision! create.kahoot.it/share/year-…

Lucy Strange is one of only a handful of authors who gets automatic promotion to the top of my reading pile. Murder on a Midsummer Night is an absolute treat. A cosy midsummer murder, combining mystery and suspense with a wide range of eccentric characters. It's a lot of fun.

I know asking for resources is a bit old hat on here now 😔 but I’m looking to get the children to create a ‘big picture’ history timeline. So putting key events and civilizations in one timeline so they can see where the Ancient Greeks ‘fit’. Does anyone have anything like this?

Over the past six years, I’ve loved writing a regular reading column in Educate magazine. Almost forty articles later, covering graphic novels, empathy, peer recommendations, reading aloud, and much more, I’ve gathered them all on my Padlet. padlet.com/Jon.../reading-fo…

Daisy Hirst’s “There Is Not Usually a Hole” is the best kind of shaggy dog/ cat story - playful, quietly brave, and full of trust in young readers. Dark tunnels, found friends, and humour in what’s left unsaid. Simple, smart, and deeply satisfying. A joy! #PicturebookPage
