I think that Paraquat will be banned or heavily restricted by the APVMA. It's currently banned in over 70 countries, and Australia will likely be next. This removes another tool from the toolbox, and will further impact farmers ability to manage weeds.
There's been discussion about paraquat use in #ausag. It is absolutely critical the products farmers use are safe for people & the environment. Decisions about what can/can't be used are made by the independent, science-based regulator APVMA. Read more: buff.ly/YzO9dVP
