Flavors are sweet ,but consequences are bitter. What begins as curiosity can end in dependence, says @_Rheuma On #WorldNoTobaccoDay #Tobacco
Flavors are sweet ,but consequences are bitter. What begins as curiosity can end in dependence . You question rules and challenge authority. You say NO to parents. You say NO to teachers. Then why not be bold enough to say NO to TOBACCO & NICOTINE ? That's real independence. #WorldNoTobaccoDay2026 #UnmaskTheAppeal #TobaccoFreeGeneration #SayNoToNicotine @TobaccoFreeInd

24th May is World Schizophrenia Day. Schizophrenia is not a character flaw. Not laziness. Not “madness.” It is a severe but treatable mental disorder affecting millions of families. The tragedy is not just the illness. It is the lack of awareness, stigma, delayed treatment and abandonment surrounding it. Many patients suffer for years before reaching a psychiatrist, often after families try faith healers, hide symptoms due to shame, or fear “log kya kahenge.” Early treatment can change lives. Silence delays recovery. 🧵 #WorldSchizophreniaDay

Here is another piece from my interview. This time, I deal with the strongest surviving myths out there (which refuses to die) - alcohol, sugar, non-sugar sweeteners and vitamin D. The evidence against my stance on alcohol was this: "Lancet's Editor-in-Chief" says people can have few drinks. This is not how medical science works. This is not how public healthcare works. Another healthcare myth, that diet sodas containing aspartame causing cancer is also wrong. It was based on series of studies in rats. The European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) and other critics questioned the results, suggesting the reported tumors might have been inflammatory lesions caused by chronic respiratory infections common in older rats, rather than cancer caused by aspartame. It is proven beyond reasonable doubt that alcohol is a cancer-causing agent even with low levels of use and has zero nutrient value. Not sure how long I must keep saying this. youtube.com/watch?v=-j07kjcf…
