Via @TorontoStar@cafreeland it’s not a “feeling” that is causing Canadians to show up to food banks in record numbers. No one is calling it a vibecession except you. This doesn’t really doesn’t help your case for not seeming like an out of touch elite…

'A trustee of Britain’s oldest breastfeeding charity has resigned after it introduced an inclusivity policy that allowed men to attend support groups.' Can we talk about the fetishists yet? Or must we turn a blind eye, lest we seem prudish, or unkind? thetimes.com/uk/society/arti…

Tony was someone who could have a profound impact in a matter of minutes. He made you feel seen and loved, no matter who you were. He took being the hands and feet of Jesus seriously, and my brief encounter with him continues to convict and inspire me, eight years later.
We lost a dear friend and brother last night. @TonyCampolo, our co-founder, our partner in ministry, a light in all of our lives. Thank you, Tony, for challenging us, for reminding us of Christ's love for us and each of our neighbors, for a life dedicated to the Red Letters. Your legacy lives on in us. Memorial post from Religion News Service on our blog. More coming soon. Thank you for your prayers for Tony, his wife Peggy and their family, and for @ShaneClaiborne and his family. redletterchristians.org/2024…

Just very in my feelings this Monday morning. Keep hearing people talking about things going back to normal, making summer plans, travel itineraries...I get it, you want to experience joy again.

Please remember that not all of us are going back to normal. The effects of COVID are long. There is a whole new swatch of people now in poverty. There are those who were chronically ill before and still are. People are grieving lost loved ones. Don’t forget these people.

Just...don’t go back to normal.

Save the Children is devastated to learn that Obaida, who we supported via partner @DCIPalestine, has been killed by Israeli forces. Obaida was 17 and wanted to be a chef. Our thoughts are with his family. There is no justification for killing children.
Obaida Akram Abdurrahman Jawabra, 17, was killed by Israeli forces with live ammunition today around 8 p.m. in Al-Arroub refugee camp near the occupied West Bank city of Hebron. Obaida sustained a gunshot wound to his chest. ow.ly/FvIT50EOUCI

These terrorists were allowed to break into the Capitol because of white privilege. No tear gas. No rubber bullets. Had this been peaceful protests for Black lives, this would've been a different story.

I was invited to a webinar on content performance, and was excited to learn more about my profession. But when I looked at the panel, it was 100% white males. #Diversity matters. I’m not comfortable attending an event where no other race or gender is represented.
