I’ve never fully understood my parents dynamic. But tonight I asked my husband to put 2 inches of water into a pot to boil. He then brought it into the room I was in to ask "This much??" And as I signed off that yes, that does indeed look like 2 inches, it all washed over me.

Halifax bound for a conference later this month and I'm flying in a day early. It was the before times (c o v i d) when I visited last and I'm sure a ton has changed. I’ve always loved my time there.
