In incredible news, our preprint (ecoevorxiv.org/repository/vi…) has now been downloaded >7500 times from EcoEvoRXiv in the last week! We show that ecological results are very sensitive to who analyses the data and how they do it.

Drove up into Dja Dja Wurrung Country to visit my dad yesterday, and the floodplains and wetlands and woodlands and trees and wildflowers we saw on the drive were *chef's kiss*. This is why I love floodplains: water goes where it always has and reveals the past.

Going to bed with blisters on my hands from my first ever gymnastics class. Add this to the list of things I've tried as an adult that I desperately wanted to do as a kid. Aiming to nail the handstand on beam by Christmas.

Wren's HbA1C has come down dramatically since we started looping. She now has the average blood sugar of someone without diabetes. And we all sleep better and Wren isn't dealing with roller coaster blood sugars that make her feel rubbish. It was hard work to set up, but it works!

It's up and running! Just using the virtual pump until I get the hang of it. The learning curve is steep but I'm excited to see how it goes irl on school holidays. If you ever want to try, now you have a person to help you get it set up (me!).
