The Lt. Col. Luke Weathers, Jr. VAMC's Cinematographer Romeo Lucchesi recently received a NATAS Emmy Award! VA Memphis won for a story which honors the life and legacy of the late Mr. Elmore Nickleberry, a U.S. Army Veteran and Civil Rights Icon.

Today we remember the D-Day landings at Normandy. We honor those WWII Veterans who took part in Operation Overlord by storming beaches and parachuting behind enemy lines. We are grateful for their service and sacrifice.
