The festival had begun with an opening ritual, in which Khadijatou Doyneh honoured the space beautifully. This set the scene for a day which embraced cultural, spiritual and creative aspects of #menopause, focusing on celebration, joy and flourishing, not just the challenges. 8/

It was captivating to watch art being created. @MendoncaPen produced a beautiful illustration which I was honoured to be in. The phrase “I am stepping into who I fully am” is based on how one of the @AutMenopause participants described menopause. It really resonated with me. 6/
