This is very accurate!
Players love difficult shots because they’re fun. Great shooters love simple shots because they win games.

"Dreams without goals are just dreams, and they ultimately fuel disappointment. On the road to achieving your dreams, you must apply discipline, but more importantly, consistency. Because without commitment you'll never start, but without consistency, you'll never finish." -DW

A lot of youth/HS sport parents wish their kids would work with a mental performance coach or wish they had the time. Now that problem can be solved. This app helps guide young athletes in the right direction. **This is not a sport counselor, or a mental health app.

If anyone is interested send a DM. I had a couple athletes reach out today already, spots are filling up.
COACHES AND ATHLETES: I created an app in beta testing phase. I am looking for 15-20 athletes age 13 and 2-3 coaches that are interested in trying something new, helping me find some bugs, and helping me prepare for a full launch to Apple and Google Play app store. DM for info.

I know you said blind resume, I have always submitted more documents either via email or online in the portal. Wouldn't most candidates include a portfolio highlighting those questions that they asked?
Conducted a blind resume contest the other night. Sent candidates background of 6 individuals to 20 people. Told them to act as if they were the athletic director at a small institution. Interesting to hear feedback. Most people had more questions. What’s their leadership style? How’d they recruit and retain? What’s their fundraising experience? What’s their personality? Sometimes we complicate it more than needed. Yes, there are always other factors that are going to be important. Interviews matter. But, take a step back. Before making emotional decisions and getting too complicated. Who would we choose based off of what they have done so far in their career?

"We're going to have the kind of season that we pay for in April and March." Setting a culture standard from Brett Venables. Success isn’t luck. It’s the habits, routines, and discipline you build every day. The unseen work is what shows up when it matters most.

Coach, I just assume my team got a stop before that offensive conversation starts! Or we are in constant transition from getting a stop! 🤣
Do we forget about defense when we are talking hoops?

I agree with this! However... there are tactical opportunities throughout the game, and good coaches should have their team ready to adjust to those opportunities. I do believe recognizing those things and being prepared to see those situations is the 'Art' to coaching!
Perception: Coaching happens during the game. Reality: Most coaching happens in practice. Games are where your players reveal their habits. Practice is where those habits are built. If a coach isn’t doing most of their teaching, correcting, and demanding in practice, game night won’t save them. #cmdcoachinglab
